Had a much needed and greatly appreciated day in the mountains. Some tree trimming needed done due to the massive snow fall this year. That cat couldn't fit through the trees to groom so in I come. Had a few helpers and a couple saws. 8 hours in below zero temperature, riding on top of a snow cat cutting trees at around 11,000'. Not a bad way to spend the day, especially when you throw in a little snowmobile ride through he snowfields. Maddie hung out in the cat most of the day, enjoying the heat.
An awesome way to clear the mind. So blessed to have the opportunities presented to me in this place I call home.
Two of the dog teams getting ready to head out.
Then heard some good info from Marshall about our goal against the other teams and each other at pmbar! "One of us is going to make it to the top of Black Mtn. first. I say whoever it is gets the loot. And if that person bonks first, they give it up........In other words, I hope you are ready to win in May." I can't wait. One of my favorite places to ride and with one of my favorite riding partners. It's gonna be rad!
GO RIDE!!!
